About the Lessons
Lessons for all Guitar Styles, Levels and Ages
My educational and teaching background of nearly 45 years allows me to teach a wide variety of guitar styles to all levels and ages. With so many learning opportunities here at my guitar studio, it's easy for the student to see how studying the guitar can be more than a just lesson... it's a musical adventure!
Teaching with Technology
Here at the Steven Saulls Guitar Studio, I use state of the art equipment and teaching techniques to help the students accelerate their level of playing in an entertaining and hands-on learning environment. Students may choose to learn their favorite songs and pieces in addition to a balance of challenging exercises, good technique, music and tablature reading, and music theory. I feel that the students make better progress and enjoy the guitar more when they are allowed the freedom to choose the musical projects they undertake. In general, students are more motivated and inspired to practice when each lesson is tailored to their own needs and musical tastes!
Student Performances and Recording Technology
As a part of their educational experience, students may produce professional quality multi-track recordings of their own original songs. Using programs such as Logic Pro , ProTools, Guitar Pro and Band-in-a-box, I can help the students mold their creative musical ideas into finished studio productions.
